The greatest help comes from your active participation in the community and by becoming a member of San Mateo Heritage Alliance.  We encourage you to stay informed and speak out about issues in the city (https://cityofsanmateo.org), including the General Plan Update (https://strivesanmateo.org), proposed development projects, Planning Commission and City Council meetings, particularly in regard to identifying, protecting and preserving our irreplaceable architectural and cultural resources in the City of San Mateo.
